Faux finishing can be used on walls, ceilings and floors and techniques include glazing, stenciling, decorative plaster, venetian plaster, lime plaster, gilding, metallics, woodgraining, marbleizing, etc.

Hotel Ulysses in Mount Vernon, Baltimore

Hotel Ulysses occupies the 1917 Latrobe Building in Mount Vernon. Conceptualized and designed by ASH NYC, the hotel is an amalgamation of several inspirations. The name comes from James Joyce’s novel and the decorative finishes emulate the ancient Roman frescoes of the Boscotrecase Palace in Italy.


Cinghiale

Cinghiale is an award winning Italian restaurant located in Harbor East Baltimore, owned by Forman Wolf, We were asked to warm up the walls of the dining room. We used the existing texture and added a warm glaze to evoke the weathered facades of northern Italy.
